"Henry Hull, native of New York, in the 85th year of his age, died at Pleasant Plain the 5th inst. Came to Iowa in the '40's and married Mary J. Hoskins at Pleasant Plain Sept 16 1857. He was the father of two children, both died in infancy, but his house has been a home for the children of others. The aged wife survives him."
