DR. MYRICK DIED TUESDAY

Had suffered stroke in 1937, never recovered

Dr. E. G. MYRICK, 72, died at his residence in the west-end addition Tuesday at 6 p.m. He suffered a stroke on Nov. 20, 1937 and never recovered. He came to Fairfield in 1909 from Montrose, Ia., was a graduate of the Keokuk school of medicine in 1904, and was a World War veteran.

He was born in Hartford, Ia. on Sept. 23, 1869. Surviving are his wife (sic. Nellie WOODWARD MYRICK), one son, Ralph in Los Angeles; one daughter, Mrs. Frank KIRKPATRICK of Fairfield; one brother, E.P. MYRICK of Beech, Ia., one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

The body has been removed to the Hoskins funeral home where funeral services are pending.
