"Mrs. Joel Hoskins, 73, died at her home in Pleasant Plain last night. Born Ida S. Sharpe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Sharpe, in Logan Co., Ohio May 13 1862; married Sept 17 1887 to Joel Hoskins who survives. Four children: Herman died at the age of 5 years; surviving children are Mrs. Verl Lundquist of the Richwoods neighborhood; Mrs. Ray Ireland of Fairfield, and Seth Hoskins west of Pleasant Plain. Nine of 11 grandchildren survive. Four half-brothers and sisters survive (names). . . . .Bur. Friends Cemetery."
