"Obit. Mrs. Benjamin R. Hoskins. Betsy Pickering, dau. of David and Agnes Pickering, born near Pleasant Plain, Iowa, Oct 1 1850, died at the home of her son Frank Hoskins, Apr 5 1929 aged 78-6-4. Married Nov 20 1884. Four children: Ralph Gilbert, of Cedar Rapids; Frank D. of Pleasant Plain; Grace Annice, who preceded her in death about nine months; and Cecil May at home. Birthright member Society of Friends . . . . ."
