Esperanza 'Hope' ZARAGOZA

Esperanza "Hope" ZARAGOZA, 74, of San Antonio, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011.

A service was at 10 a.m. today at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in New Braunfels. Interment followed at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. On online guest book may be signed at www.missionparks.com .

Mrs. ZARAGOZA married Raymond ZARAGOZA July 4, 1955. They made their home in Fairfield for 27 years, leaving Iowa in 1982. Mrs. ZARAGOZA then began a 15-year career with La Quinta Inn.

She was a past member of the Guadalupanas at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mary AMES and husband Ken of Fairfield, Liz BREON and husband Dan of Longview, Texas, and Estella ZARAGOZA of San Antonio, Texas; one son, Raymond ZARAGOZA and wife Pennie of Brownsville, Texas; one son-in-law, Michael FLORES of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lourdes FLORES.
