"Fred Earl Hook, age 30, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Hook who live southeast of Pleasant Plain, died Mon. A.M. July 4. Heart trouble. Born June 11 1902. Surviving are his parents and three sisters. Buried Friends Cemetery."
