"BRIGHTON, IOWA. Clarence Grosscup, 89, retired farmer living at Brighton, died Thurs. at the Washington County Hospital in Washington. Last rites will be Sat. 2 p.m. in the Methodist church in Brighton. . . . .Burial will be in the Friends Cemetery in Pleasant Plain. Married Jan 30 1906 Alice Snider who preceded him in death in 1960. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Helen Rynor, Corydon; one brother, Fred Grosscup, Washington; and a sister, Mrs. Dora Wilson, Barnes City, Iowa."
