MEALEY, FUQUA, GAMBLE, KLINGAMAN, SHANNON

"Margaret Minerva (Fuqua) Mealey. Buried at Brighton. Daughter of Ashbury & Sidney Gamble Fuqua, born in Tenn. July 15 1850. Emigrated to Green Co., Mo. with her parents at about two years of age. During the early '60's she moved to Pleasant Plain, Iowa, and in 1872 married David H. Mealey who died May 7 1920. Member Presbyterian Ch. Died at the home of her daughter in Fairfield June 27 1921. Survived by five children, one daughter Edna having died June 22 1909. Remaining are Mrs. O. V. Klingaman, Fairfield; Merl B., Walla Walla, Washington; Alfred H., Milton, Ore.; Mrs. H. A. Shannon, Lees Summit, Mo.; S. Leonard, Richland, Iowa. Two brothers and two sisters also survive."
