Glenn L. MARSHALL, 100, formerly of Fairfield, died today, Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Millpond Care Center in Ankeny.
Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Glenn L. MARSHALL, 100, formerly of Fairfield, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Mill-Pond Care Center in Ankeny.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Interment will be at Keota Cemetery in Keota (note: in Keokuk Co., IA).
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Mill-Pond Retirement Community. Cards and memorials may be sent to Mary GAW, 1722 Janice Court, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
Mr. MARSHALL was born Oct. 21, 1910, in Deep River, the son of Perry S. and Hattie V. TINKLE MARSHALL. He married Dorothy LaVerne FARIS Feb. 6, 1937. She died in November 1991. He married Alice WARD CUPP Dec. 5, 1992. She died in April 2009.
Most of Mr. MARSHALL's life was spent farming in the Pleasant Plain and Packwood areas. Upon retirement, he moved to Fairfield where he lived until failing health determined a move to Mill-Pond Community in Ankeny.
Mr. MARSHALL was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield.
Survivors include one daughter: Mary GAW and husband John of Jefferson City, Mo.; one son, Larry CUPP and wife Joan of Ankeny; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister: Effie DIERS; and two siblings who died in infancy.
