Page 8, Column 4ELMORE Funeral Will Be Monday
J. Wesley ELMORE, long-time resident of Fairfield, and a retired Dexter company employee, passed away at about 9:20 last night at the Jefferson county hospital where he had entered a few hours earlier.
He had been seriously ill for the past two days and in failing health for the past several years.
Last rites will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with the Rev. Donald Eagle in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
J. Wesley ELMORE was the son of Andrew and Martha TUCKER ELMORE. He was a member of the Antioch church north of Fairfield and had been a resident of this community for 37 years. He was never married.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Allen LUCAS, Williamsport, Ind.; and Mrs. Ethel CUMMINGS, Fairfield; also two brothers, Edgar ELMORE, Adams Center, New York; and Glen ELMORE; Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Jefferson County, ss.Notice Is Hereby Given ,that (sic) the undersigned has been duly appointed and qualified as administrator of the estate of John Wesley ELMORE, deceased, late of Jefferson County. All persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment and those having claims against the same will present them within legal time, duly authenticated, to the undersigned, for allowance and file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court.
