"Mrs. Kenneth M. Elmore, 79, died at Mt. Pleasant last Fri. Bur. Hillcrest Cemetery at Brighton. Born June 6 1872 in Jefferson County, dau. of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Hicks. (Robert C. & Eletha Deeds Hicks who are buried in Brighton.) Spent nearly her entire life in this vicinity; married Elmore Mar 19 1910 at Clinton, Iowa. He survives, also one daughter, Mrs. Isabelle Thurston, Oregon, Ill., by a previous marriage; one brother, Boyd Hicks, Fairfield, one grandson and one greatgrandson both of Oregon, Ill. Preceded in death by one brother and one sister."
