ALEXANDER HOPKIRK

Alexander HOPKIRK, 92, former resident of this community, was buried Friday afternoon. Services were held in the Lockridge Baptist church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Green.

Mr. HOPKIRK was born October 25, 1851 (sic. 1853), on a farm near Lockridge, and spent the early part of his life here. He also lived in Fairfield, but of late years has resided in Indianola at the home of a daughter.

Surviving are one son Raymond of Sigourney; two daughters, Mrs. G. W. PORTER, Indianola, and Mrs. M. D. ALEXANDER.

Pallbearers were Alton EGGENBERGER, Gordon HOPKIRK, Charles PENCE, L. E. BOOS, Karl LARSON and John BRIGGS.
