Thomas A. ARNOLD, 44, of Poway, Calif., died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at home.

Arrangements are pending at Gould Funeral Home.

Thomas A. ARNOLD

Thomas A. ARNOLD, 44, of Poway, Calif., died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at home.

A memorial mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Saints Joseph and Cabrini Church in East Pleasant Plain, with the Rev. Robert Striegel officiating. Burial at a later date will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton.

Family visitation will be 9:30-11:30 a.m. Monday at the church.

Memorials for Mr. ARNOLD's children's education may be brought to the church or mailed to the family at 305 W. Fountain St., Brighton 52540.

Arrangements are in the care of Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.

Mr. ARNOLD was born Nov. 25, 1966, in Fairfield, the son of Roger and Pearl LAMANSKY ARNOLD. He married Susan VIGNONE in 1991. He later married Angela BOGDAN in June 2009 in Poway, Calif.

Mr. ARNOLD grew up in Brighton and attended Brighton grade school. He graduated from Washington High School in 1985 and University of Illinois in 1991 with a degree in industrial design. Mr. ARNOLD began his career with Rockwell-Collins in Irvine, Calif. He also had worked at Nokia in San Diego and Kyocera in Carlsbad, Calif. He was currently with Novatel in Carlsbad, Calif.

Mr. ARNOLD was a hotrod enthusiast. He had restored a 1949 Chevrolet five-window pickup.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Madison ARNOLD of Carlsbad, Calif.; one son, Grayson ARNOLD of Carlsbad, Calif.; two step-sons, Jackson and Nathan BOGDAN, both of Poway, Calif.; his parents of Brighton; one brother, William ARNOLD of Harrisburg, Neb.; and two sisters, Sally OGDEN of Watkins, Colo., and Mary ARNOLD of Castle Rock, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert.
