Lewis EDLER, 93, died near Libertyville today. Born Aug. 16, 1854. Survived by five sons... Hoskins Funeral Home... to be buried Germanville Cemetery.

EDLER Rites To Be Thursday Afternoon

Last rites for Lewis EDLER, long-time resident of Jefferson county, will be held at the Hoskins funeral home Thursday afternoon. The services will be at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in the Germanville cemetery.

Mr. EDLER died near Libertyville last Monday following a long illness.

Note: Surname spelled ADLER in some sources, and given name also found as Louis. Burial was in Germanville Union Free Cemetery. His gravestone gives his birth year as 1850 but his obituary notes 1854; his age of 93 coincides with the 1854 birthdate.
