FRANK O. CARLSON SUMMONED BY DEATH THIS AFTERNOON

Frank O. CARLSON passed away this afternoon about one o'clock at his home, one and a half miles north of the city. He had been ill for several weeks but his condition had been serious only for the past several days.

Mr. CARLSON was born in Sweden October 21st, 1855, being at the time of his death 63 years, 1 month and 29 days old. He came to Fairfield in 1881 and has since resided in this vicinity. Besides his wife he is survived by three children, Anton R. CARLSON of this city, C. H. CARLSON of New London, and Elmer CARLSON who resides north of Fairfield. He is also survived by one brother, Gust CARLSON of this city.

He was a faithful member of the Swedish Lutheran church of this city.

The funeral services will be held from the home Sunday afternoon at one-thirty o'clock, interment being in Evergreen cemetery.

CARLSON.

Frank O. CARLSON, one of Jefferson county's well known farmers, died on Friday at his home just north of the city, following a several weeks' illness.

Mr. CARLSON was born in Sweden October 21, 1855, and died December 20, 1918, at the age of 63 years. He came to Fairfield in 1881 and has since resided here where he has made many friends.

His wife and three sons survive: Anton R. CARLSON of this city, C. H. CARLSON of New London, and Elmer CARLSON, who resides north of Fairfield. One brother, Gust CARLSON of Fairfield also is left.

Deceased was a faithful member of the Swedish Lutheran church. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and the body laid to rest in the Evergreen cemetery.
