CARROLL HURD DIED TUESDAY AFTERNOON

George Carrol (sic. Carroll) HURD, the nine year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis HURD living near Perlee, passed away yesterday afternoon at 4:30 at the Jefferson county hospital. His death was due to injuries received from a fall from a horse five weeks ago. Since then two operations have been performed in an effort to save his life but to no avail. He is survived by his parents and one younger brother, Robert.

A short service will be held from Franzey's undertaking parlors tomorrow afternoon at one o'clock in charge of Rev. Leland Spaulding. From there the body will be taken to Antiock (sic. Antioch) church were the funeral services will be held and interment will be made.
