J.A. HOWLETT WAS SUDDENLY STRICKEN LAST EVENING

Mr. HOWLETT has been the night watchman at the Louden Machinery Company's plant for a number of years and was ready for duty last evening as usual.

Before reporting he stopped at Cook's restaurant across from the factory and was in conversation with a number of men when he suddenly complained of illness. Walter LOUDEN who was near accompanied HOWLETT home but the latter became unconciaus (sic.) before that short distance had been covered.

Mr. HOWLETT is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gilbert CANTERBERRY and Mrs. Henry F. KELLER, and one son, Robert. Mrs. KELLER, whose husband in in service overseas, has made a home for her father.

Arrangements for the funeral have not been completed.
