"Mrs. Melinda Coil, 72, died Sun. Iowa City. Pleasant Plain Friends Cemetery. Born in Jefferson County Aug 24 1886, daughter of Ogden and Arminta Coop Lambert. Husband Justin Coil preceded her in death. . . . .Survivors. . . . . include two sisters, Mrs. Frances Pickering of Pleasant Plain and Mrs. Hattie Minster of Fairfield."
