"OBITUARY. Mrs. Eleanor M. Charles, wife of Abram Charles, born in Guernsey County, Ohio Aug 14 1819; died at her home in Pleasant Plain Mar 30 1899. She was 79 years 7 months and 16 days old. Interment was at the Friends Cemetery in Pleasant Plain April 1st. She was the stepdaughter (?) of Sarah L. Charles of Pleasant Plain and Mrs. Ida B. Pool of New Sharon . . . . ."
