HESSELTINE, Cinthia SCHOOLEY -- Cinthia SCHOOLEY HESSELTINE, 48, of Keota, formerly of Brighton, died Sunday evening, Dec. 12, 2010, at home.

Arrangements are pending at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.

HESSELTINE, Cynthia SCHOOLEY -- Cynthia SCHOOLEY HESSELTINE, 48, of Keota, died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at home.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Church of God in Brighton, with the Rev. Ryan Meader officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton, with the family present from 6-8 p.m.

Memorials for her daughter's education may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at P.O. Box 234, Keota 52248.

Mrs. HESSELTINE was born June 23, 1962, in Washington, the daughter of Sydney and Connie SMITH SCHOOLEY. She married Don HESSELTINE Aug. 9, 1997.

Mrs. HESSELTINE grew up in Brighton and graduated from Washington High School. She had worked at the Washington Care Center and Hoodwinks in Washington. She had helped operate the Town & Country Tavern and most recently worked as the assistant manager at the Hawkeye Motel in Washington.

She enjoyed mushroom hunting, deer hunting, fishing and camping. She also liked horses.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Desi Rae HESSELTINE; her mother and stepfather, Connie and Paul SHELANGOSKI of Brighton; one brother, Kevin SCHOOLEY of Keota; two sisters, Toni SANDELL and Tricia DRAYFAHAL, both of Washington; seven grandchildren; and four stepchildren, Angela HESSELTINE of Keota, Lori SCHULTZ and husband Paul of West Chester, Robert Lee HESSELTINE of Nashville, Tenn., and Brian HUMSTON of Washington.
