"Wm. Phipps and Mrs. Belle West attended funeral services Mon. afternoon in New Boston, Ill., for their uncle Joseph Franklin "Joe" Banjay, 86, who died Sat. Aledo, Ill. Native of Jefferson Co., Iowa, he was born near Pleasant Plain. Resident of New Boston since 1897."
