DEATH CLAIMS MRS. RUSSELL
Mrs. Milton RUSSELL, a life-time resident of Jefferson county until the past year, passed away Saturday evening at 11:10 p. m. at the Mercy hospital in Davenport. She had been seriously ill at the home of a daughter near Davenport during the past week and was taken to the hospital on Saturday.
Last rites for Mrs. RUSSELL will be held in Fairfield. The services will be at the Weston Behner funeral home Wednesday at 2 p. m. with Rev. M. C. Campbell in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
Mrs. RUSSELL, born near Glasgow 73 years ago, had spent her entire life in Jefferson county until about a year ago, when she went to live with her two daughters near Davenport because of ill health. Mr. RUSSELL is a patient in the University hospital at Iowa City and will not be able to attend his wife's funeral. He has been a patient there fo the past month.
Anna Bell RUSSELL was born February 4, 1876, in Jefferson county, the daughter of the late Woodard and Martha ARCHIBALD HOLLEY. She was united in marriage on October 30, 1901, to Milton RUSSELL who survives. The marriage took place in Henry county.
Besides her husband, Mrs. RUSSELL is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ethel HILL and Mrs. Edith HILL, both of Princeton, Iowa; and Mrs. Oliver GOHN, Fairfield. Eighteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a brother, Al HOLLEY, and a sister, Mrs. Alta BAYLES of _owell, Iowa, also survive (left side of column faded).
Mrs. RUSSELL was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Anna Bell RUSSELL is buried in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield, lot Devotion B18 - space 6, next to her husband Milton who is in Devotion B18 - space 5.
