OLSON, Richard Dale -- A service for Richard Dale OLSON was held Oct. 15, 2010, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary in Palmdale, Calif.

Mr. OLSON was born Dec. 17, 1931, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Weslie and Charlotte BECKER OLSON.

Mr. OLSON was a 1950 graduate of Fairfield High School. He retired from Rockwell International.

Surivors include four children, Steven OLSON, Brenda SCOTT, Terri OLSON and Dale OLSON; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Beverly OLSON of Fairfield and Shelley OLSON of Fort Worth, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jean HUNTSMAN OLSON; one brother, Wendell OLSON; and one sister, Shirley BROWN.
