KLETT, George Ronald -- George Ronald KLETT, 72, of Cantril died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, in his truck in Aberdeen, S.D.
Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

KLETT, George 'Ron' -- George Ronald "Ron" KLETT, 72, of Cantril, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, in his truck at a truck stop in Aberdeen, S.D.
A funeral was at 3 p.m. today at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Cremation followed the service.
Memorials to Cantril Christian Church may be mailed to the family at 403 E. North St., Cantril, 52542.
Mr. KLETT was born Nov. 7, 1937, near Richland, the son of Omer and Hazel FOWLER KLETT. HE married Phyllis REIGHARD. They divorced. He later married Yvonne GLINES SCOTTON.
Mr. KLETT attended Richland High School. He began his life-long career as a truck driver at age 17. He most recently owned his own truck and was affiliated with Wynne Transportation Co. of Omaha, Neb.
Mr. KLETT was an elder at Cantril Christian Church. He and his wife had done mission work feeding the hungry in Arizona.
Mr. KLETT enjoyed spending time with family. He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Diesel Engine.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, James KLETT and wife Angela of Fort Madison, Matt KLETT of Fort Madison, Terry KLETT and wife Kathy of Fairfield, Rick KLETT and wife Penny of Hannibal, Mo., and Gary KLETT of Birmingham; two daughters, Brenda REYNOLDS and husband Ron of Batavia and Christy ROBINSON and husband Mark of Burlington; two stepsons, Steven SCOTTON of Dubuque and Robert SCOTTON and wife Cindy of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one stepdaughter, Mona WOLFBRANT of Fairfield; one sister, Betty JOHNSON of Oak Park, Ill.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Chuck KLETT; and two brothers, Roger and Donald KLETT.
