MRS. FLEAGLE, PAST 66, DIES THIS MORNING
The Funeral Arrangements Await Word from Sister In California

Mrs. J. H. FLEAGLE, 402 South Sixth street, passed away at 2:45 o'clock this morning at the Jefferson county hospital following an emergency operation Monday from which she never rallied. Funeral plans await word from relatives in a distance.

Mrs. FLEAGLE's maiden name was Sarah BEALL and she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wiley BEALL whose family home was South of Fairfield, her father being a Civil war veteran. She was born January 12, 1868, and was married to J. H. FLEAGLE in 1910 (sic - 1911). He preceded her in death eight years ago, Nov. 11, 1927.

Surviving are an only sister and brother, Mrs. George MARSHALL of Los Angeles, Calif., and Claude BEALL of Centerville.

Mrs. FLEAGLE's entire life was one of unselfish devotion to the welfare of others. She was an active member and an officer in the Women's Relief Corps, Hawkeye Rebekah Lodge and Fairfield Temple Pythian Sisters, and was an honored member of the Pythian Sisters club and the Naomi Rebekah club.

The body was taken to the Murray Funeral Home in this city.

Activities scheduled in the W. R. C. and Rebekah organization for this week have been postponed because of the passing of Mrs. FLEAGLE.

LADIES UNION TO MEET HOUR LATER

Due to the funeral services of Mrs. Sadie FLEAGLE, the meeting of the Christian Ladies' Union will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, at the home of Mrs. A. C. Johnson.

FLEAGLE Services Will be Friday At Murray Home

Funeral services for Mrs. J. H. FLEAGLE, who died here yesterday morning, will be held at the Murray Funeral home, Friday afternoon, Oct. 12, at 2:30 o'clock. The service will be in charge of Rev. S. P. Williamson and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral home up until 1:00 o'clock Friday. Mrs. FLEAGLE's sister, Mrs. George MARSHALL of Los Angeles, Calif., is coming her for the last rites for her sister.

Mrs. MARSHALL came by airplace from Los Angeles to Burlington, and arrived in Fairfield by train this afternoon.

By request, the members of the W. R. C., the Pythian Sisters, and the Rebekahs', organizations
all of which Mrs. FLEAGLE was a faithful member, are asked to meet at the Murray Funeral home at 2:15 p.m. Friday to attend the services in a body.

FLEAGLE Will On File Names Nine As Beneficiaries

Nine beneficiaries are named in the will of the late Mrs. Sadie FLEAGLE, just filed for probate in the Jefferson county district court.

The beneficiaries, as listed, are: Edith Irene Keller, Claude FLEAGLE, Bessie FLEAGLE, Susie NOTT, Carl KIRCHNER, Florence Schiedel, C. H. BEALL, Gertrude MARSHALL and Thelma Foster.
