Page 11, Column 8CARD OF THANKS
How can we ever show our deep appreciation for the beautiful cards, for the flowers, and the food, and the countless other deeds of kindness to Lap during his illness, and to all of us in these recent days. Also for the Lung Association memorials, and for the cash contributions which will purchase a maple tree in Howard with a plque (sic). Our sincere thanks also to members of the 34th division army band for dedicating the "Repaz March" at the concert, as a tribute to Lap. There were so many cards, I'm afraid it would be some time before we could ever get them answered, and we wanted you to know right now. So it is our hope with all our hearts, that this message will be taken as a Personal Appreciation to each and every one of you, for your thoughtfulness has meant more than we can say, and are counted as part of our many blessings. May God watch over you and yours now, and in the days that come. Most sincerely,
Cleo BOWERMASTER,
Jim and Jon~~~~
