SEPTER, Carl -- Carl SEPTER, 82, of Lockridge died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at his home.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.

SEPTER, Carl V. -- Carl V. SEPTER, 82, of Lockridge died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at his home.
The funeral is set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.

Mr. SEPTER was born Jan. 16, 1928, in Salem, the son of John and Celesta HOCKETT SEPTER. He married Virginia AVERY Nov. 26, 1947, in Ottumwa. She died April 7, 2002.
He lived in Salem, Birmingham and Fairfield areas before moving to Lockridge, where he made his home for 48 years. He farmed his entire life milking cows for 50 years, broke and sold horses, enjoyed hunting, going to auctions and baling hay.
Survivors include his children: Terry SEPTER and wife Diane of Lockridge, Tom SEPTER and wife Tina of Fairfield, Judy APLARA and husband Bill of Lockridge, Doug SEPTER of Lockridge, Brian SEPTER and wife Kristen of Lockridge and Carla SEPTER of Lockridge; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and one-brother (sic) Marvin SEPTER of Fairfield.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; one infant granddaughter; and one sister, Lola WILLIAMSON.
