KEASLING, Harold G. Jr. -- Harold G. KEASLING Jr., 65, of Brighton, died late Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, in the Washington County Hospital emergency room.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Church of God in Brighton, with the Rev. Ryan Meader officiating. The body has been cremated.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

A general memorial has been established. Memorials may be left at the church or may be mailed to the family at 304 S. Harrison St., Brighton.

Gould Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. KEASLING was born Dec. 9, 1944, in Ottumwa, the son of Harold G. and Maxine D. LEE KEASLING Sr. He married Linda WALLACE PFEIFFER Dec. 9, 1994, in Brighton.

Mr. KEASLING grew up in Ottumwa and Eldon and attended Eldon schools. He moved to Brighton in 1978. He had worked for Rock Island Railroad and later for Crane Manufacturing in Washington.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Harold G. KEASLING III now known as Ace ESSARY and wife Linda of Fairfield; one daughter, Theresa SMITH of Moberly, Mo.; one stepson, Robert PFEIFFER of Brighton; one stepdaughter, Francine "Cenie" PFEIFFER of Washington; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two stepgrandsons; and two sisters, Joan CREMER of Agency and Linda POOL of Eldon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one stepdaughter, Trudy PFEIFFER.
