Albert H. COLEMAN was born in Libertyville, Ia., Dec. 12, 1865, and after a short illness with pneumonia, died at his home March 4, 1925, aged 59 years, two months and twenty-six days.
He was united in marriage to Mrs. Mur Winna LUCAS, Aug. 30, 1921. They made their home in Libertyville, where Mr. COLEMAN was employed in Slimmer Brothers store.
He united with the M. E. Church under the pastorate of Rev. Springer in 1895. He also was a member of the Masonic lodge, Kilwinning, of Batavia, number 198.
He leaves to mourn their loss, besides his wife and step children, his mother, Mrs. Margaret COLEMAN of Libertyville; two sisters, Mrs. O. J. CLARRIAGE (sic - CLARRIDGE) of Davenport, Mrs. G. W. CAMPBELL of Camanche Ia., and one brother, John of Agency, Iowa, besides many other relatives and friends.
Mr. COLEMAN had worked for Slimmer Brohters (sic) for twenty years or more and was well known in this community. His jollity and kindness with the children and grown ups will be missed, but not forgotten.
Funeral services were held at the M. E. church, March 6 at 2:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. Pritchard, a former pastor and assisted by Rev. Garrett the local pastor. Burial services were held at the Fell cemetery, conducted by the Masonic order.
