MISS EFFIE YOUNG DIED SATURDAY IN MONTANA

Word has been received in the city the death of Miss Effie YOUNG, who died Saturday afternoon at the home of her sister in Lewiston, Montana.

Edward A. YOUNG of this city, was called to her bedside several weeks ago by her illness.

The funeral party left Lewistown this morning for Stuart, Iowa, where the remains will be interred. The funeral will be held at that place on Thursday.

Miss YOUNG is a former Fairfield resident and her many friends here will regret to learn of her death.

Note: Effie was a daughter of Nathaniel W. YOUNG and Sarah E GALLIHER YOUNG. Sarah's father (James A. GALLAHER) and other GALLIHER relatives are buried on the family cemetery (GALLIHER cemetery) that was located on the family farmstead in Cedar Township, Jefferson County, Iowa. Nathaniel and Sarah moved to Stuart, Guthrie County, Iowa. They, and Effie, are buried in one plot at North Oak Grove Cemetery, Stuart, Guthrie County, Iowa. They share a common headstone inscription facing as well.
