*Transcribed for genealogy purposes; I have no relation to the person(s) mentioned.RKT note: Royal's obituary stated that burial was to take place at Union Cemetery. Evergreen Cemetery (Fairfield, Iowa) plot records indicate that he was buried on this plot on Feb. 20, 1920. He may have been first buried at Union Cemetery where his paternal grandparents and other GALLIHER family were buried, then later the family removed him to this location in Evergreen Cemetery. His father was also indicated to have been first buried in Union cemetery and was also likewise evidently reinterred to Evergreen Cemetery. 3rd.075.
RKT note: The obituary used "Vaska" as the middle name, other sources use "Vasha". One or the other is likely a transcription error. Will use the "V" for this entry since neither the obituary nor headstone can be used to prove or disprove either spelling.
