SCHOCK, Sally Jo -- Sally Jo SCHOCK, 78, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus and sent to 2560 200th St., Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. SCHOCK was born March 15, 1932, in Keokuk, the daughter of Howard and Ruth THOMAS BARNES. She married Kenneth SCHOCK Nov. 6, 1953, in Keokuk. They later divorced.

Mrs. SCHOCK was a homemaker. She also had worked at Louden Machinery Company, J&B Plastics and Best Western Fairfield Inn before retiring in 1987.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as reading.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Jo HAHN and husband Harold of Fairfield; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Tom BARNES of Keokuk.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dick BARNES and Robert BARNES in infancy; and one son in infancy.
