Illness Fatal To Mrs. Ralph KANN

Mrs. Ralph KANN, 76, Fairfield Route 2, died Tuesday (sic. Sept. 26, 1972) at 11:20 p.m. at University Hospitals in Iowa City. She had been in failing health for six months and seriously ill for the past month.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the First United Presbyterian Church. The Rev. John R. Dilley will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

The body will be taken from the Raymond Funeral Home to the church at noon Saturday.

The former Marie E. MAASDAM, Mrs. KANN was born Feb. 17, 1896 in Pella. She was the daughter of Jacob and Catherine WAGAMAN MAASDAM.

Mrs. KANN was reared and educated in Jefferson County. She was married to Ralph KANN Nov. 28, 1952. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Chapter C, PEO,; and Chapter E, TTT.

She is survived by her husband and three nieces. She was precceded (sic. preceded) in death by two brothers and one sister.
