Mrs. E.R. KANN (sic. Edward R. KANN was the name of her husband), of 7 miles northeast of this city, who has been a patient at the Sunny Slope sanitarium at Ottumwa for several months, passed away yesterday afternoon.
The body was brought to the Hoskins funeral home yesterday and the last rites will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist church in charge of Dr. U. S. Smith with interment in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. KANN who was 38 years old April 12 (sic. born April 12, 1892), was formerly Miss Flossie Ethel MIKSCH (sic. the first name engraved on the headstone at Evergreen Cemetery is "Flossye"). She is survived by her husband and three children; Reithel Louise, Wilma Arlene, and Daryl Edmund. She also leaves a step mother, Mrs. A. L. RODENMEYER, and a half brother and half sister, Gladys and Eugene MIKSCH.
