MANLEY, Marvin R. -- Marvin R. MANLEY, 75, of Fairfield, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 21 at The Oaks Assisted Living facility at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield. The body has been cremated. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

Mr. MANLEY was born July 6, 1935, in Fairfield, the son of Earl and Minerva HALL MANLEY.

Mr. MANLEY worked at Iowa Malleable for 22 years. He also was a welder and truck driver.

He enjoyed working on vehicles.

Survivors include two children and two sisters, Jone CULP of Des Moines and Jill LEAFGREEN of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.
