LUNDQUIST funeral Saturday

Herman C. LUNDQUIST, 88, of Route 1 died Thursday afternoon at his home.

He was born Sept. 28, 1898, at Moline, Ill., the son of Alfred and Anna Lena ANDERSON LUNDQUIST. He married O. Marie SAMONS Nov. 28, 1923, in the Lutheran parsonage in Fairfield.

LUNDQUIST had lived most of his life in the Lockridge Township - Jefferson County area where he had been a farmer and a self-employed mechanic. He was a member of Salina Clare Lutheran Church.

Survivors included his wife; and one daughter, Jo-Ann NELSON, Fairfield; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, six brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Behner Funeral Home with the Revs. Gary Walker and James Cecil officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience beginning today at 4 p.m.

Memorials have been established to Foursquare Gospel Church and Fredonia Independent Full Gospel Church.
