Jack F. YARBROUGH

Jack F. YARBROUGH, 84, 606 North C St., died at 12:17 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 1992, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Open visitation begins Friday morning at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.

YARBROUGH was born Nov. 14, 1907, in Enid, Okla. He married Mary Ann MILES on Dec. 7, 1933. She died March 31, 1978. On Dec. 6, 1980, he married Dorothy SEARCY. A resident of Fairfield since 1937, he worked as a maintenance man at the Fairfield Post Office and Iowa State Bank. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 47, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ottumwa.

Surviving are his wife and a nephew. Two sisters, Florence and Katherine, preceded him in death.
