ZEILMAN Rites To Be Saturday

Death came Thursday afternoon to Mrs. Mabel ZEILMAN, 80, long-time resident of Fairfield.

She passed away about 4:45 p.m. at the Nelson Nursing Home where she had been a patient the past two years. She had been seriously ill the past two months.

Last rites will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Raymond funeral home with the Rev. Donald Eagle in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mabel ZEILMAN was born Dec. 20, 1878, at Stewart, Iowa, the daughter of the late George and Dora DEEDRICH McGILL. She was reared and educated at Ancona, Ill., and was united in marriage on Feb. 22, 1905, to Ray ZEILMAN. The wedding took place at Long Point, Ill. He preceded his wife in death on Sept. 23, 1957 (sic. he is buried at Long Point Cemetery, Livingston County, Illinois).

A resident of Fairfield for 30 years, Mrs. ZEILMAN was a member of the Christian church. Before entering the nursing home she had made her home with her daughter on rural route 3 for 15 years.

Mrs. ZEILMAN is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Everette BLOUGH (sic. Marie); one son, Wayne ZEILMAN, both of Fairfield; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and a brother, A. B. McGill, Streator, Ill.
