Floyd Adren NEDDERMAN

Floyd Adren NEDDERMAN, 84, of 1707 Linden Dr., died at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, at the Jefferson County Hospital.

The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), with the Rev. Traverce Harrison officiating. Burial, with military rites, will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

No family visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or Jefferson County Hospice.

Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. NEDDERMAN was born Sept. 13, 1917, in Lovilia, the son of Robert and Carrie LANDSBERGER NEDDERMAN. He married Ruth LITTLE Nov. 18, 1939, in the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She died June 29, 2001.

He was reared and educated in Hiteman. He graduated from Hiteman High School and lived most of his life in the Fairfield community. He was a foreman in the machine room at The Dexter Company for 40 years before his retirement. After retiring, he worked at Behner Funeral Home.

He was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), VFW No. 2271, Fairfield Eagels Lodge No. 1927, and the Fairfield Elks Lodge No. 1192. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served in World War II.

Survivors include two sisters, Lucille RHEA of Cedar Rapids and Jerrie Lou ANDERSON of Des Moines; and one brother Jim NEDDERMAN of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and one brother, Tony NEDDERMAN.
