STREED, Paul Wayne -- Paul Wayne STREED, 82, of Longview, Texas, died Sunday, June 13, 2010.

A celebration of life was held June 19, 2010, at Longview Christian Fellowship in Longview.

Mr. STREED was born Nov. 9, 1927, in Fairfield, the son of Earl and Thelma STREED. He married Beverly HARWOOD July 18, 1952, in Fairfield.

Mr. STREED served as an ordained minister for 52 years. He established churches for Foursquare Gospel Church.

Mr. STREED served in the United States Air Force from June 25, 1947, to Sept. 11, 1953.

Survivors include his wife; four children, Paula SCHENEY and husband Dana, Carrie IWAN and husband Mark, Clay STREED and wife Jeri and David STREED and wife Angela; numerous grandchildren; two brothers, Bill STREED of Clinton and Larry STREED of Mount Sterling; and three sisters, Joanne ROBERTS of California, Karen ROGERS of Branson, Mo., and Beverly BLAKLEY of Douds.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Virginia STREED.
