K. BREWER Dies At 53

Kenneth W. BREWER, 53, 409 E. Washington, died Tuesday, 2:30 p.m., at Jefferson County Hospital. He had been in failing health for several years.

BREWER was born May 4, 1924 at Milton, the son of Ray and Edna ARMSTRONG BREWER. On Sept. 20, 1947 he married Louise CONOVER at Kahoka, Mo.

He was retired from Crane and Monorail Systems Division of Acco where he had worked for over 27 years. A Navy veteran of WWII, he was a member of the American Legion, VFW and Eagles.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Sandra ORR of Washington; one son, Jerry HENDRICKS, Washington; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lucille FORD, Mount Pleasant. His parents and one grandchild preceded him in death.

Services will be Friday, 2 p.m., at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. D.O. VanDyne officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion at Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
