Christopher M. ADAM, 24, of Ottumwa died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997.

The funeral Mass was at 3 p.m. today at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ottumwas with the Rev. Anthony Herold officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. A Christian wake service was Sunday evening at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa. A memorial has been established to St. Patrick's for Catholic Youth Ministry.

ADAM was born April 23, 1973, in Ottumwa, the son of David and Cathy SHAFER ADAM. He was a 1991 graduate of Cardinal High School in Eldon and a graduate of Indian Hills Community College. He was employed at Vaughn Motors in Ottumwa and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his parents; one brother, Gregory of Batavia; and grandparents Don and Arlene SHAFER of Ottumwa, and Richard and Marlys ADAM of Fairfield.
