RODGERS, H. Lynn -- H. Lynn RODGERS, 84, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

A funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Stephen C. Page officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

A memorial has been established to Hospice Compassus.

Mr. RODGERS was born Nov. 16, 1925, in Fairfield, the son of Burdette and Maude MURDOCK RODGERS. Mr. RODGERS married Joanne LIETSCH Sept. 3, 1949, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Burlington.

Mr. RODGERS was a lifetime resident of the Fairfield community. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1943 and farmed until his retirement.

Mr. RODGERS was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield and Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dan RODGERS of North Liberty and Gary RODGERS and wife Teresa of Fairfield; two daughters, Linda BRAMELL and husband Dave of Elmer, N.J., and Rose GRAHAM and husband Gary of Solon; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jeanine PAUL in Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald RODGERS.
