GREESON Funeral At Milwaukee

Word was received here today of the death of Mrs. Fannie GREESON, former Fairfield resident who died Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis.

She had been a patient at the hospital the past four weeks after suffering a stroke. Moving to Milwaukee in 1968, she had been a resident of the Cambridge Home for Senior Citizens until her illness.

Last rites will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Fass Funeral Home in Milwaukee with burial in the Garden of Eternal Life at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Milwaukee (sic - Brookfield, a suburb).

Fannie M. GREESON, 89, was born May 19, 1883, on a farm near Perlee, the daughter of John J. and Martha J. SAWYER McKEE. Her husband died in 1913.

Mrs. GREESON was employed at the Fairfield Glove Co. for 43 years before her retirement in 1957. The family home was located at 201 W. Stone.

Survivors include one son, Bernard GREESON, Milwaukee; two grandchildren and one great grandchild; along with nieces and nephews. Mrs. Iliff LEU, Fairfield, is a niece.

Note: Buried in Brookfield, Waukesha Co., WI. There is a memorial stone in Evergreen Cemetery for her, on Lot 3rd.014. She was married to Clarett Birdell 'Bert' GREESON in 1899, and he died in 1961 in IL and was buried there with his second wife Audrey (who he married in 1916).
