FORD, Clarice Rosemary -- Clarice Rosemary FORD, 85, formerly of Milton, died Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Crestview Manor Assisted Living Home in Crestview, Fla.

A service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Milton Christian Church in Milton, with the Rev. Justin DeVries officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church.

Memorials may be left at the church or may be mailed to the family at 4129 Millside Road., Laurel Hill, FL 32567.

Arrangements are in the care of Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Mrs. FORD was born Jan. 15, 1925, in Ottumwa, the daughter of James L. and Golda M. TYSOR LANCASTER. She married John D. RIVERS in Oklahoma, and they later divorced. She married Roy H. FORD in November 1958 in Ottumwa.

Mrs. FORD graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1943 and then attended Iowa Business Success School in Des Moines. The FORDs moved to Orlando, Fla., while Mr. FORD was in the United States Air Force -- Mrs. FORD worked for Citizens National Bank. They moved to Milton in July 1967 and to Florida in 2007. Mrs. FORD worked at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua until she retired.

She was a member of Milton Christian Church, Women's Christian Fellowship and Iowa Business Women's Association. She participated in many church committees.

Survivors include one daughter, Deborah RIVERS THOMAS and husband Dean of Crestview, Fla.; one son, Martin E. FORD and wife Brenda BURNETT; three grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Donald L. LANCASTER; and one infant sister, Lois E. LANCASTER.
