ALCORN, E. Jean -- E. Jean ALCORN, 86, of Fairfield, died at 1 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

A service is planned at a later date.

Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. ALCORN was born May 21, 1923, in Talmage, Neb., the daughter of Leonard and Mamie MOELLER VIOX. She married Estel Carson ALCORN. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. ALCORN worked as a ward clerk at a hospital. She had lived in Fairfield since September 2008.

Survivors include two daughters, Denise WAGGONER and husband Benny and Laura ALCORN, all of Fairfield; two sons, Gary ALCORN and wife Jocelyn of Lincoln, Neb., and Patrick ALCORN and wife Rebecca of Friend, Neb.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one daughter-in-law, Kate RONALD of Oxford, Ohio.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis and Michael ALCORN.
