N. ALLENDER dies at 87

Nellie M. ALLENDER, 87, longtime resident of Fairfield, died suddenly at 8:05 a.m. today at her home, 57½ E. Broadway. She had been in failing health the past year.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Behner Funeral Home.

Nellie M. ALLENDER was born March 8, 1893, at Eldon, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lebenon KIMES.

Her marriage to J.E. ALLENDER, Sr., took place Jan. 30, 1913, at Eldon. He preceded his wife in death Nov. 6, 1968. Mrs. ALLENDER had made her home the Fairfield Community for over 67 years.

She is survived by one son, Edward ALLENDER, Jr., Fairfield. She was preceded in death by one brother.
