IRISH, Ronald D. -- Ronald D. IRISH, 52, of Geneseo, Ill., died at 8 a.m. Sunday, April 25, 2010, at his sister's home in rural Keosauqua.

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jim Luder officiating. Burial will be in Center Chapel Cemetery in rural Keosauqua.

Open visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from noon until 1 p.m.

Memorials to Hospice of Central Iowa may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 21874 Highway 2, Keosauqua 52565.

Mr. IRISH was born April 27, 1957, in Moline, Ill., the son of Ralph D. and Betty WALTERS IRISH.

Mr. IRISH was a welder at John Deere Foundry in Moline, Ill. He had been an over-the-road truck driver for Eagles Grocery Co.

Mr. IRISH was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include three sons, Seth, Jake and Wyatt IRISH of Colona, Ill.; and three sisters, Connie RIPPLE of Keosauqua, Beverly SPEER of Mount Sterling and Judy SMELSER of Casa Grande, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Betty SMELSER.
