STREED, Donna May -- Donna May STREED, 80, of Clinton, died Thursday, March 25, 2010, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A service was at 10 a.m. today at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial was in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. STREED was born June 6, 1929, in Van Buren County, the daughter of Ralph and Myrtle BONNETT CARMICHAEL. She married William S. STREED June 1, 1948, in North Liberty.

Mrs. STREED was a Libertyville high school graduate. She attended Parsons College in Fairfield and worked as a teacher for one year before becoming a homemaker in her own home.

Mrs. STREED was a member of Ladies of the Moose and Fulton Country Club.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dale STREED and wife Karolyn of Wyoming, Mich., and Roger STREED and wife Cathy of Camanche; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert CARMICHAEL of Shenandoah; and two sisters, Mary STULL of Cedar Rapids and Patty MORRIS of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
