ZEIER, Virginia M. HEADLEY -- Virginia M. HEADLEY ZEIER, 86, of Clarksville, Tenn., formerly of Farifield, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tenn.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. today at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, with the Rev. Tony Lewis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Virginia ZEIER Memorial Fund at any US Bank. Online condolences may be sent at www.neal-tarpley.com.

Arrangements are in the care of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home of Clarksville, Tenn.

Mrs. ZEIER was born Jan. 27, 1924, in Atkinson, Ill., the daughter of Howard HEADLEY and Winnie AHLGREN HEADLEY. She married Joseph F. ZEIER Sept. 16, 1946. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Mari McSPADDEN and Candace RYE and husband Rickey; two sisters, June CHEZUM of Knoxville, Ill., and Ferne WICKLIFF of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Mary Frances ZEIER and JoAnna NOBLES; two brothers, Clifford HEADLEY and Bud HEADLEY; one sister, Phyllis STISSER; and one son-in-law, Keith LAUDERMILK.
